About Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences

Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences has been working since 1961 and is an offspring of scientific and intellectual achievements of Lviv higher education establishments. It is the only university of such type at South-Western region of Poland which connected old traditions and modernity. Every year around 2800 students graduate from this university.

Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences is one of the best specialized universities in Poland and it takes second place in the country from the point of view of issued patents. Every year the university takes best positions in rankings among Polish public universities; it takes second place at the spheres of environmental and agricultural sciences.

Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences means more than 10 000 students, 27 educational spheres, and 5 faculties:
-Faculty of animal husbandry and biology
-Faculty of veterinary
-Faculty of life sciences and technology
-Faculty of ecological geodesy and engineering
-Faculty of food science

Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences proposes to get higher education at all educational degrees at full-time and distance forms of education. There is the possibility to study at Polish or at English educational program. Main specializations here are Technical and Life sciences. 1700 professional teachers are working at the university.

Buildings of Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences have everything which is necessary for education: modern classrooms and laboratories, library, sport complex with a swimming pool and dormitories of high standard.
