A new university appeared in Warsaw. From June 1st the School of Social Science and Humanities is turning into a university with its full name as The University of Social Science and Humanities. It is the first private educational establishment in Poland that became a university.
The University fulfilled all requirements to get this status. Being more specific, the University of Social Science and Humanities has 6 competencies to award the doctorate degree. This degree is awarded in 5 fields among which are psychology, cultural studies, sociology, law and literary criticism.
The founders of the USSH wanted to create an educational establishment the employees and students can be proud of. The university made a great effort to provide a high quality education and scientific research on the global level. That was the fact that contributed to such a rapid development and success of the University.
