We are often asked, “When should I begin to address the issues related to entering universities in Poland?”, our answer is “In advance”. There is no need to wait for the moment of issuance of a graduation certificate or bachelor’s degree, because you can lose a lot of opportunities, especially at initial registration to the university, these documents are not required, so they can be added later. The earlier you start preparing to enter the particular university, the easier the process will be.

Usually Polish state universities offer entry campaign for the month of May, and private – in March. At this point, you need to decide on the direction of education, teaching language, the university and the requirements for candidates. Polish universities often introduce discounts and promotions for those who have already decided where to study. For example, exemption from payment of the registration fee for reviewing the documents to the end of March or a free language course before starting the education.

It is not a secret that for leaving to study abroad, whether to Poland or any other country, you must have a foreign passport. This passport is the main document that confirms your identity when entering into foreign universities. It is required at the very beginning of registration into Polish universities. Therefore, if you do not have the passport, you should first obtain it. Note that passport production takes from 3 to 20 working days.

Equally important is the knowledge of the language when entering into Polish universities. The sooner you decide on which language you want to study, the more time to prepare you will have. After all, you will have plenty of time, for example, to improve your Polish or English language skills, take the test and get a certificate that you will need at entry.

At entry to each Polish university it is required to provide certain documents, preparing of which also take some time. As mentioned above, one of the main documents is a foreign passport. Also, the university may require an apostille to the certificate or bachelor’s degree. Production of the apostille takes from 3 working days to one month.

So, it is necessary to start preparing in advance for entering into Polish universities, to calmly, step by step, address every serious issue properly.
