In Poland there are a lot of different holidays. Most holidays are religious, because Poles are Catholics. There is no doubt that Christmas and Easter are the greatest holidays for Polish people. Beside these, here people celebrate the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Green holidays, The Three King’s Day and others. The most famous national holidays are The National Flag Day, Constitution Day, and The Labor Day.

There is one more holiday which all Polish students are fond of. This is Juvenal! This holiday is celebrated several days and during these days students do not have classes. Polish universities usually arrange such holidays in May. The organization is impressive, because you can see a lot of concerts, participate in competitions and contests between students and simply have fun. During the Juvenal there is a transfer of power to students, so if you were not at the Juvenal, you did not study in Poland!

When you start your studies in Poland, you will get an opportunity to learn all traditions which are very interesting and meaningful.

These dishes are served in every student’s cafeteria and various cafes and restaurants, so you will have an opportunity to try them.
